| CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT | ||
| The Board of Directors of Automatic Systems Ltd (ASL) met on 10 April 2006. | ||
| The Board has been given to understand that the horse racing industry is at cross roads and that concessions have to be made by one and all in the best interests of the industry and of ASL itself. | ||
| The Board therefore unanimously resolved to waive the exclusivity agreement between ASL and the Mauritius Turf Club (the MTC) to allow the MTC to consider the application for a second totalisator operator. | ||
| In addition, the Board wishes to inform the shareholders of ASL that it has submitted applications to the relevant Authorities for the development of new products and that these are already under consideration. The shareholders will be kept informed of further developments in due course. | ||
| Shareholders of ASL and the public in general are therefore advised to exercise caution when dealing in the shares of ASL. | ||
