INTERIM DIVIDEND FOR THE YEAR ENDING 30 SEPTEMBER 2006

An interim dividend of Rs 2.00 per share has been declared by the Board of Directors at its meeting held on Friday, 24th March, 2006 and is payable on or about the 2^nd May, 2006 to all ordinary shareholders registered at the close of business on the 13^th April, 2006.

Shares of the Company will be traded Cum-Dividend on the Stock Exchange up to the market day of 10^th April 2006 and Ex-Dividend as from the 11^th April 2006.
