INTERIM DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT

The Board of Directors of Plastic Industry (Mauritius) Ltd has declared an interim dividend of Rs 1.00 per share to all shareholders registered at the close of business on 19^th April 2006, in respect of the financial year ending 30th June 2006. The dividend will be paid on or about 2^nd May 2006.

The shares of the company will be traded cum-dividend up to and including the market day of 14^th April 2006 and ex-dividend as from the 17^th April 2006.
