INTERIM DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT

The Board of Directors of Plastic Industry (Mauritius) Ltd has declared an interim dividend of Rs 1.00 per share to all shareholders registered at the close of business on 4^th April 2007, in respect of the financial year ending 30^th June 2007. The dividend will be paid on or about 16^th April 2007.

The shares of the company will be traded cum-dividend up to and including the market day of 30^th March 2007 and ex-dividend as from the 2^nd April 2007.
