LISTING OF GOVERNMENT OF MAURITIUS TREASURY BILLS ON THE OFFICIAL LIST OF THE STOCK EXCHANGE OF MAURITIUS

 

The Bank of Mauritius hereby informs the public that Government of Mauritius Treasury Bills of the under mentioned maturities issued by the Bank of Mauritius will be listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius as from 20 February 2007.

Purchases on the Stock Exchange of the Government of Mauritius Securities/Bank of Mauritius Bills, which in accordance with Section 30 of the Stock Exchange Act may be made only through a Stockbroking Company, will be restricted to Mauritian citizens and limited to a maximum of 20 units per order (one unit = Rs100,000 nominal).

 

A list of licensed Stockbroking Companies is given below.

 

Dealings in the Government of Mauritius Securities/Bank of Mauritius Bills will be suspended five business days before the maturity date.

 

The public will be advised through the Bank of Mauritius’s website (http://bom.intnet.mu) and Stock Exchange of Mauritius website (http://www.semdex.com) as and when Government of Mauritius Securities/Bank of Mauritius Bills of other maturities would be listed.
