Communiqué to the shareholders of United Investments Limited and the public in general

 

Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of United Investments Limited (“UIL”) held on Friday 6 July 2007, the Shareholders have considered and approved the following.

 

  • A bonus issue of 9,120,000 ordinary shares in the ratio of nineteen (19) ordinary shares for every one (1) orinary share held (19:1), followed by
  • A rights issue of 19,200,000 ordinary shares in the ratio of two (2) ordinary shares for every one (1) share held (2:1), be made for a consideration based on a 20% discount to the diluted price on the stock market on the last cum rights trading session of 22 August 2007, payable at latest on 1 October 2007.
