IRELAND BLYTH LIMITED

COMMUNIQUE

Following recent press articles, the Board of IBL wishes to clarify its position in the aviation field.

IBL Aviation Ltd has obtained an AOC (Air Operators Certificate) and has begun regular services to Rodrigues on its Beech craft 1900D since September 2005 (Catovair).

A second Beech craft 1900D is due to arrive this month and will be in operation in Madagascar.

Strategically, the aim of the Group is to become the second national carrier operating regionally using jet propelled aircrafts.  IBL Aviation Ltd is thus waiting for the necessary permits to fly to Reunion on a regular basis.

Dependent on the above, the Board of IBL has not made any decision on this matter.

The shareholders and the public will be kept informed of any development regarding the above.
