NOTICE OF DIVIDEND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Directors of The Mauritius Commercial Bank Limited has declared for the financial year ending 30^th June 2006, an interim dividend of Re 1.00 per share to all shareholders registered at the close of business on 2^nd December, 2005.

Payment thereof will be effected on or about 19^th December 2005.

Consequently, the shares of the company will be quoted cum dividend from the 16^th November 2005 to 29^th November 2005 and ex dividend as from 30^th November 2005.
